Transferring Weapons' etc. Features to another
Yesterday I played GW and looked at the item, which I held with my second hand and I thought: "Wow! This one looks really great." Unfortunately I'm at the beginning of the campaign which means that I will need to equip a stronger one in future, in order to be able to fight the stronger monsters etc. That is to say that the look will be another one, perhaps one i don't like.
So I think that it would be great if you could transfer the features of one strong weapon (or the thing you hold with your second hand) to one weapon (or thing) whose look you like.
(If this can be done with unique items is also an interesting thing which should be discussed)
The thing that comes to my mind is the following one:
With regard to the fact that the real strong items have a very fancy outlook, I have to say that I personally prefer simple-looking items which are strong.
Some (first) suggestions concerning this feature:- only make it possible for chars with a certain level (don't know, beginning at level 12 or something)
OR:
- place the person who can do this thing in a certain place, which is hard to be reached (or something like that)
I think that there's also the possibility of using other things with this transferring option (not only weapons and 2nd hand things), but I can't think of something certain at the moment.
I am really looking forward to hearing/ reading your opinions!!

you might be new to the game, if so ill explain aliitle bit. i think that 99% of every low item also exists in its max form, just later in the game. you can find it as a drop or as a green item (some of them) or just buy it from other players in lions arch, kamadan and lions arch or kaieng.
look up , weapons, green weapons, inscriptions and salvaging in here: http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
if you go to weapons you will find every single weapon look that exists, with where it can drop and how rare it is, as well as its look and stats (for green weapons)
this site is like the guild wars bible, you can find pretty much any information you will need in there.

What you need is called "Weapon Upgrades".
If you found a nice skin with a bad base, you are just unlucky. Since the addition of inscriptions getting a decent base in less time is quite possible. The only real problem here is not being able to change the upgrades. So the only thing really needed is inscriptions worldwide.
With your idea, people would be able to transfer the skin for the pre-Searing's Crystal Sword to another weapon!

Or, what's worse, from an item into a Crystalline Sword from pre-searing. And suddenly, all Crystallines would drop to 1k, because everyone with proph could make a character, get quest finished, go to post, transfer, use storage, delete character, rinse and repeat.
Not to mention if you could choose what ,,features'' to choose from.

I'm assuming that your concerns have been addressed.
Please post general questions in our Q&A section before assuming something can't be done in the game, and making a suggestion. Alternatively, use the search feature to search to make sure your suggestion has not already been covered.
